Works of The Flesh

Ministry for America

America is becoming more and more intolerent of the Word of God. When Christians announce warnings towards certain sins defined in the Bible, they are characterized as intolerent, or some other term depending on the sin being presented. For example, when warning against homosexual behavior, Christians are labled as homophobic. I am a sinner just like any homosexual. The only difference between me and anyone living in sin is I am forgiven and the unforgiven sinner is not. I have turned from fleshly ways and seek to walk in spiritual paths. The unforgiven sinner who chooses not to repent and ask for forgiveness must face the consequences by themselves. Remember, God has held nothing back towards providing a way for sinners to escape judgement. The following passages of Scripture provide a glimpse in the works of the flesh. God says these following statements not me. Understand, God knows if you share any guilt in any of these works yet He is willing to offer you a way out of judgement. Avoid eternal punishment. Turn towards God.

[Gal 5:19-21 KJV] 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are [these]; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told [you] in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

[Rom 1:26-32 KJV] 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in [their] knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

[1Co 6:9-11 NKJV] 9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

The best human lawyer on the planet will not be able to provide reasonal doubt as to our guilt before the Living God. The last verse (verse 11) shared above resonates with God’s Wonderful Grace. Christians have been washed, sanctfied, and justified by the Spirit of our God.
